Background<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

The Electrical Engineering program at National University of Tainan was established in 2005. With the rapid growth of the industry, cultivating highly skilled professionals is crucial to Taiwan\u2019s economic development. The newly established Southern Taiwan Science Park, located just a 30-minute drive from our main campus, offers a wealth of advanced engineering opportunities.<\/span>
\nIn 2008 and 2009, the Institute of Communications Engineering and the Institute of Electro-Optical Engineering were respectively merged into the Department of Electrical Engineering, further strengthening our educational programs. In the fall of 2011, the department integrated these institutes into the Institute of Electrical Engineering and introduced a Ph.D. program.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our objectives are:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. To provide students with a comprehensive understanding of all major areas of electrical engineering and prepare them for advanced research and development roles in electrical-related industries.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. To contribute significantly to Taiwan\u2019s rapid advancements in science and technology while developing students into highly qualified R&D engineers.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        The Electrical Engineering program is designed to prepare students for careers in EE-related industries as well as for further graduate studies. Our goal is to inspire students to acquire advanced knowledge and research capabilities in modern EE fields. Advanced technical training in EE-related industries is essential for a successful career.<\/span>
        \nTo broaden students’ global perspectives, the department is actively developing international academic exchange programs. The ultimate goal of the department is to establish advanced technical innovation centers.<\/span><\/p>\n
